Why USA?

What makes the USA the “Perfect Study Destination” for international students?

The USA is a global leader in education, industry, and innovation. A US degree is highly regarded as the strongest degree in the world. The quality of education and the emphasis of the universities, be it Ivy League Colleges or small art schools, in research and study is simply unmatched. According to the  Higher Education Research and Development (HERD) Survey, US colleges spent over 117.5 billion on research and development in the 2024 fiscal year (source: Forbes).  The US also provides the most versatile education, as students can change courses or even universities mid-course.  Students also have the freedom to choose from a variety of majors, minors, and optional modules. The large campus size and student population, access to lab facilities and equipment, and a research-focused environment all contribute to making the US a top study destination.

Besides academic benefits, the quality of life in the USA is also rated highly. Being ranked in the top 16 in the Numbeo Quality of Life Index with a score of 184.7 and a purchasing power index of 147.9, the US is also the perfect destination for career building and settlement. Post-Study Work Visa.

Unlike the majority of popular study destinations, the USA does not have a general PSW. Under the Optional Practical Training program, general graduates can apply for a 12-month work permit. Students in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) field can apply for a 24-month extension on their existing 12-month period, essentially giving them a 3-year work visa.
