Important stages in the UK application process.
Although it is very simple, the students will experience different stages of the application process. Here are the important ones that will help your journey feel manageable.
Deciding on the university.
While factors such as the availability of the desired course, fees, and rankings do impact the choice, most decisions come down to one specific preference, that being the ‘Inside London’ or ‘Outside London’ options.
Applying for and getting the Offer Letter.
This is the first major step in the application process. An applicant can apply for an offer letter by submitting their academic documents, passport, and supporting documents according to the requirements of the University of choice, such as LOR (Letter of Recommendation), MOI, or EPT score.
Applicants receive an offer letter, usually within 24 hours to a week of applying, although the time may vary for specialized courses such as Master’s by Research.
Clearing the pre-CAS interview.
What is a pre-CAS/ credibility interview?
The pre-CAS or the credibility interview is a one-on-one or a recorded interview that the university takes under UKVI rules and guidelines. This is the part of the application where the applicant is tested for their genuineness, research, intention to study, and intention to return home once their course is completed.
This is perhaps the most important part of the application process, as it is mandatory in the majority of UK universities to attend the interview.

Getting the CAS Letter.
What is a CAS Letter?
Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies, known by its acronym CAS, is the official letter provided by the university, confirming that you have been accepted. CAS can only be obtained once the pre-CAS/ Credibility interview is cleared and tuition fees are paid, along with some other requirements.
Visa lodgment.
The Visa can be lodged once the CAS letter is obtained. It usually takes a week to 15 days for the UK visa to be processed after the visa fee is paid.
